About

I'm Alexandra, welcome! I'm a Romanian artist living in Latvia. 

I've been illustrating for over 12 years, primarily as a freelancer, collaborating with clients from all over the world. My work blends traditional and digital media, depending on the project. While I’ve recently been incorporating more digital tools into my process, I still gravitate toward traditional techniques like pencil and watercolor for my personal pieces.

Nature is a huge source of inspiration for me – from the tiniest details to vast landscapes. I’m also drawn to old, forgotten objects, weathered papers, broken things, and animals. My illustrations often take on a surreal quality, combining unexpected elements to evoke emotion and spark curiosity.

Background

I studied at the National University of Arts in Bucharest, completing both my Bachelor's and Master's degree in Graphic Arts. 

I am a member of The Romanian Illustrators Club since 2014 and The Finnish Illustrators Association Kuvittajat (2018).
